Where to Find Cheap Uggs Boots?
One of the biggest cons of Ugg boots is their price (even though many people will argue that the biggest one is their style). My motto is to never pay full price, so here are some tips on where to find cheap ugg boots.
When I say cheap, I don’t mean ten bucks, even thought it would be nice. By cheap I mean 40-50% of their retail value, which is usually at least $50.
First of all, avoid any questionable websites. If you search for cheap Ugg boots on Goggle, many of the stores which will pop up on the front page will be fake. You will get your shoes and mot likely they are not going to steal your credit card info, but instead of authentic sheepskin boots, you will end up getting knockoffs which you could have bought at Payless for $20.
If you want to know the site is an authorized Ugg dealer, go to UggAustralia.com –Uggs official website and check the list. If the store is not on the list, stay away. I have to mention though that even though 6PM.com is not on their list, they are still authorized retailers, because 6PM belongs to Zappos.com
When I was shopping for the best deal on Uggs, I went to nearly every site on the list (yeah, it is a lot, I know) and searched for cheap Ugg boots directly at each of the stores. It was time consuming and frustrating, but I did find the boots I wanted at a pretty good price. The retailer I bought them from (I don’t even remember the name) had the last pair in my size, so I was pretty happy.
If you are a woman and wearing a shoe size up to size 8, you can buy kids Uggs. Size 8 Womens equals size 6 Kids, size 7 Womens is size 5, etc. Since kids Uggs boots are usually cheaper, you can save quite a bit of money. Make sure that you don’t buy toddler sizes though. If it says 6T, it is 6 toddler and will fit a 2 year old.;)
Always look for coupons. I like Retaimenot.com and find most of the coupons there. If the retailer is very small, then most likely you are not going to find coupons, but if you are dealing with someone major, almost always you can find some sort of discount or free shipping.
And my last tip: don’t buy Uggs before Christmas, because that when they are the most expensive. The best time to buy Uggs is in January-February when retailers are trying to get rid of the old collections to make room for the new ones. I saved $50 on my Uggs just by waiting a couple of weeks.
