Fitflop Reviews and Peer Pressure

Fitflop ads claiming that you can get fit just by wearing the miracle shoes didn’t really impress me. I mean, of course, who wouldn’t like to be fit and skinny by doing nothing other than wearing some funky shoes? However most of us don’t believe promising and appealing ads anymore, because they are known to be deceiving.

One day I was browsing Amazon for shoes (my favorite thing to do) and accidentally landed on a page with multiple fitflop reviews. Out of curiosity I started reading and was surprised how many people were swearing that fitflops work and recommending buying them in every color. After reading 20-something positive reviews, peer pressure finally got me, so I pulled the trigger and got myself a pair of yellow Walkstar III Fitflops.

While everyone suggested to size down in those, I decided not to do that, because I have a very high arch and according to the fitflop reviews, people with high arch had to actually size up.

When the shoes arrived I was pleasantly surprised by how well they were made. When I put them on I couldn’t believe that flip flops or fitflops or whatever they are could be so comfy.

I have to confess that I hate regular flip flops. They give no support, look ugly and for some reason I can’t stand anything between my toes. These shoes fit perfectly. I spend lots of time in the kitchen and usually after awhile my feet turn purple (I have blood thickening problem and varicose veins) and start hurting. To my surprise, after an hour of standing in fitflops my feet were fine. I am not sure what exactly make fitflops so comfortable, but they definitely are. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had or tried on (and that’s a lot, trust me!).

I’ve had my fitflops for a couple of months now and while I don’t think they make my thighs any skinnier, they are amazing. I have to admit, that I don’t walk as much as I should, so maybe that is why they didn’t make my thighs and butt flawless. I remember a number of people saying that their thighs became visibly smaller after wearing fitflops regularly, so it could be just me.

As far as the style goes….well, tastes are different. I don’t see myself wearing fitflops with a dress, because they look too sporty, but wearing them with shorts or a casual mini-skirt looks cute.

Are they worth $60 that they are originally sold for? I think they are, but there is no need to pay full price for them, because Amazon always has them on sale.

And if you really want these thighs to look good, I recommend sticking to good old exercising and a healthy diet.
