Shoes for Baby – to Buy or Not to Buy?
Shoes for baby are undoubtedly one of the cutest things in the world and many parents spend fortune on teeny tiny footwear for their little bundles of joys.
It goes without saying that shopping for babies shoes can bring you hours of pleasure, but keep in mind that experts agree that your child does not need shoes until he or she starts walking.
In fact, some experts say that putting shoes on baby who doesn’t know how to walk yet, may prevent their little feet from growing properly. Children need to learn how to walk barefoot before you put any shoes on them. It is not only the healthiest way, but the easiest for them also.
If it is cold outside, put booties or warm socks on your baby. Leather moccasins, such as Robeez are also great, because they will keep little feet warm without causing any damage to it. They are soft, very thin, but well insulated. Robeez don’t make baby’s feet sweaty. They are also non-slip and WASHABLE (a big plus for me!).
We bought Robeez for my baby when he was 4 month old and I fell in love with these shoes. They were very easy to put on and, most importantly, they stayed on, despite my son’s persistent attempts to take them off.
Robeez are also good, because they stretch nicely. Many babies have extra wide feet (my son did), so it is important to buy shoes which will fit nicely and be comfortable.
Robeez became a hit a few years ago. Now they are even recommended by the American Pediatric Medical Association. In my humble opinion, they are the best shoes for baby.
Here is a link to a YouTube video about Robeez and woman who created them:
Robeez can be expensive and when I thought their original price, non-sale on Robeez website, I almost fainted. However, they are sold for pretty reasonable price on Amazon and on Endless and there are lots of cute styles for both boys and girls to choose from.

I tell my friends that buying baby shoes was a waste, but nobody believed me. lol
Same here. It is probably because they are so adorable.
