Summer is finally here! It is time to reward yourself and shop for hip and stylish summer handbags.

Shoes and handbags define a woman’s style, personality and often, her mood, as well. Fashion designers are very creative and every season they set trends for clothing, shoes and handbags. However, some styles of summer handbags just like little black dresses, never go out of style.

So how to choose a classic summer handbag which will last you for summers to come and will not compromise your style.

First of all – color. Avoid dark colors in summer. Choose something light or neutral instead. If you like floral designs they will also work well in summer as well as in spring. This season yellow is one of the most popular colors. White is always a winner too, just make sure your bag is washable, because it will get dirty fast.

Second of all – size. The bigger the better. Why? If your summer bag is large, you may use it as a beach bag as well:-). You may want to consider carrying a water bottle, a pair of sunglasses and some other summer essentials in your bag, so make sure you will have room for all these. Plus, huge handbags, summer or not, are in style these days.

Summer handbags can be leather or leather-like, but many designers give their preferences to canvas, soft cotton or straw. These bags are easier to carry and they usually come in fun light colors.

It is up to you and your budget where to shop for summer handbags. I am an internet junkie and do most of my shopping online, so I personally love to buy from Amazon.
